Collective has appointed David Farrant as its new business director. David joins Collective having spent 20 years in senior roles in the advertising sector, including stints with Tag, Oliver and MullenLowe.
During his time at TAG David pivoted its agency model to create work within the virtual production space, meeting client demands and the logistical constraints of the pandemic. Prior to TAG and positions in other esteemed agencies, David honed his creative talents as an art director and partner at Karma Design in The Bahamas, where he grew up and resided.
David is focused on building and expanding Collective’s 3D production offering that focuses on using real-time technology by Unreal Engine and Omniverse. David’s unwavering vision for a more sustainable future in content creation resonates deeply with Collective’s ethos and marks a significant step towards transforming the industry. David will be spearheading Collective’s strategy on plans for 3D content creation.
The new role will see Farrant working closely with Chris Shadrick, the Interim Managing Director at Collective, as the team harnesses the power of innovative digital creativity.
Outside of his professional achievements, David holds the unique distinction of claiming three citizenships and the title of South East London’s Ex Amateur Boxing Champion.
